Manage the activities of a 13-person quality control team at the largest asphalt roofing plant in the world which covers a 24-hour seven day a week operation. Functioning as QC site leader, I am responsible for all QC related problems or concerns. I interact daily with senior plant management, R&D, Product Management, and the Sales Teams to ensure products produced at the Oxford site meet or exceed specifications and expectations of end consumer. Collaborate daily with plant management to drive root-cause analysis and CAPA responses back to markets and customers. Responsible for evaluating and responding to customer complaints related to all products manufactured at the site. Manage and oversee the data reporting and analysis of all related quality testing data looking for trends and areas of focus for process or cost savings improvement projects. Function as site leader for the Quality and Process Control WCM Pillar including tracking of metrics, material usage and cost savings and tracking of all related projects under the Q & PC Pillar. Established as main facility contact for all ISO-9001 internal and external audits. Also, responsible for visiting outside third-party laboratories and vendors for qualifications, audits, and quality related support.
