Elementary Principal I have served as a classroom teacher for over 17 years and am in my seventh year as an administrator. I have led in Title 1 districts, helped turn low performing classrooms to high achieving communities, and more specifically, have spent over 15 years working with culturally and linguistically diverse students. I hold a valid Texas Principal Certificate, have specialized in literacy, and I am fluent in the Spanish language. I am a certified T-TESS appraiser and proficient in the RtI, PLC, PBIS and data analysis processes. My experience as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, and administrator as well as my work in literacy research, has prepared me to foster a positive organizational climate based on learning and improvement at the elementary school and higher education level.
