ABOUT JOHN NATHAN ALBRINCK

Born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, I graduated from Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire in 2020, where I completed a double major in Computer Science and Economics. After a 3-month study abroad program in Buenos Aires, Argentina, I also finished a minor in Spanish. With Dartmouth’s liberal arts approach, I have working proficiency with a variety of languages, including Python, Java, JavaScript, SQL, and Stata in addition to Linux, Excel, and Git competency. I pride myself on my organizational skills, punctuality, analytical thinking and problem solving abilities. In Winter 2019, I worked at Building Engines in Boston, Massachusetts as a Software Engineering Intern, where I gained valuable experience working on client-facing software. In Summer 2019, I worked with SAP Concur in Bellevue, Washington, where I created a portal for the Concur Labs Residency Program using React and Flask. Following my graduation, I worked at Amazon as a Software Development Engineer on an Alexa team centered around improving query understanding and answering for various locales and question types. Specifically, I focused on expanding Alexa entity recognition to broader categories under the Alexa Product Advisor organization. At this time, I’m looking to move to a company that is working remotely or in the San Francisco Bay Area and I’m mainly looking for Full Stack and Front End development opportunities.
