I am a highly experienced software engineering leader with exceptional hands on technical ability. I am also a full stack engineering architect with strong experience in React, Node, Java, Python, Data Science, AWS, and Azure. I am a visionary builder of software and teams who can take an idea and make it a reality.Throughout my career, I have designed and implemented numerous large scale internet applications. My experience in multiple startup companies has also given me a strong business sense and an understanding of corporate funding, budgeting, and competitive positioning. I have recruited and lead multiple highly-talented cross-functional teams specializing in engineering, quality assurance, product management, and operations/IT. I am a life-long learner and I thrive on creating new things and nurturing the careers of all around me.I’ve lead the development and deployment of massively scalable web-based solutions including the tracking and real-time warehousing of billions of ad impressions across multiple data centers. Much of that work was done long before Hadoop was even envisioned. Scalability and analyzing massive data sets are problems that I enjoy very much.Artificial intelligence and machine learning are technical areas that I have also worked with for the last 20 years. I have experience with reinforcement learning, classifiers, rule engines, regression analysis, neural networks, and association rule generation to name a few. AI a perfect combination of math and programming, both of which I love.
