The C&P team cover a range of disciplines including; Property, Architecture & Design, Town Planning, Civil Engineering, Building Services, Maintenance, FM, Construction and Trades and Labour.

John Martin is a Senior Business Director for Hays in Cambridge, leading the Construction and Property, Office Support, Accountancy & Finance and HR Teams.Alongside managing a number of specialisms, I also specialise in recruiting for temporary, interim, contract and permanent Property & Surveying positions across East Anglia. A First Class graduate from Aston University, I joined Hays Accountancy & Finance in 2007, moving to Cambridge in 2010. In 2011 I began recruiting for Property & Surveying positions within the public and not for profit sector across Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and Suffolk. I was promoted to Business Manager in October 2013 and subsequently to Senior Manager in 2016 and then to Director in 2019. The Construction and Property team cover; Property & Surveying, Architecture, Design and Planning, Civil & Infrastructure, Maintenance, Construction, T&L, Prisons, Building Services and Facilities Management positions. I\'ve been responsible for recruiting, training, coaching and mentoring a number of great consultants on their career journey in recruitment. Whilst I do recruit into the Private sector, I\'m particularly expert in Public Sector recruitment and act as a lead for the Cambridge office including; education, housing association, local authority, NHS, not for profit sector. My inquisitive & passionate approach has helped me to gain a deep understanding of my candidates, clients, their teams and cultures, and to support them in hiring the best talent and creating life long partnerships.
