Inaccurate record keeping, incorrect processes and staff handover lead to huge delays in the audit process. 21/22 accounts fixed and filed by end of July this then led to delays for 22/23, now submitted. Steps put in place to submit 23/24 Statutory Accounts ahead of Companies House deadline this year.Complete overhaul of inadequate Management reporting, now allowing for detailed actual, forecast and Budget reporting and analysis. Introduced Cost Centre reporting and Budget holder responsibility.Accounts had not been properly maintained for many years. I undertook a complete overhaul and deep dive reconciliation of all Balance Sheet accounts. This process is still ongoing for Inventory and Corporation Tax, but all other areas are now reconciled and being run correctly and accuratelyMany processes were inadequate or non-existent, lack of controls and checks gradually being assessed and implemented or improved.Skills: Financial Management · Business Process Improvement · Management Reporting

I have extensive experience in Finance Business partnering and Controlling with a solid grounding in all areas of accounting in several different industry sectors during my career, recently Electric Motor manufacturing, Food production and Pharmaceuticals. I have extensive FP & A experience including model design and improvement. Most recently I have been Finance Manager at a Manufacturing firm and previously gained a good working hands-on knowledge of SAP Manufacturing. I am a fast learner with a passion for data analysis and an eye for detail, task oriented and focused on goal achievement and process improvement. I have Practical knowledge of running small projects mainly around systems implementation including documentation, system testing and user training. Proven record of providing high levels of reporting and forecasting to Senior Management and Business partners.
