John MaGuirk has been pecking away at one or more of these devices for nearly 40 years, his first computer wasn’t — they were called “microprocessors” then, an Apple II/Plus 48 K machine. Along the way he has owned a McIntosh/SE (his favorite machine), an Apple/Quartro, & Proforma and numerous (3) laptops of the PC persuasion. In 2009 he created a “Bridge” (card game) Newsletter, and converted to a podcast in 2011, titled BNA(Nashville)BridgeMaven, “we talk bridge in Nashville, Tennessee”, which first appeared as a monthly, In 2012, he created iPhone & Me to alternate biweekly with “BridgeMaven”, created from his popular workshops for local non-profits. 2013 September iPhone and Me/Daily debuted as a stand alone podcast, “12 1/2 minutes three times a week about the universe in your pocket or purse”.
