A primary focus area is assisting area entrepreneurial development both on a macro level of helping strengthen the local entrepreneurial ecosystem and on a micro level of visiting with, listening to and assisting people on both a company and individual level. Through my work and connections, in addition to my personal strengths and interests, I look to help people succeed and promote our community as a great place to live, work and create - I\'m drawn to that, whether professionally through my job or personally as someone who likes to help others. I also administer the Growth Initiative Fund, an $9.1 million revolving loan program for primary sector companies within Cass County, ND. With my most recent title of SVP, Finance and Entrepreneurial Development, the role was similar to my current duties but had also included some finance & operations oversight/assistance. With my prior role of Research & Business Information Manager, I would collect, organize and maintain data to support GFMEDC\'s communications, business development inquiry responses, local business expansion programs and company strategies.
