ABOUT JOHN LINEBAUGH

I am a proven self-starter who has been working at one of the premier medical device companies in the world for 20+ years. Sporting a technical degree in advanced electronics and love of computers, I started my career working in operations on the manufacturing line. I have enjoyed working on everything and anything, from sump pumps to Cartesian robots. Strong work ethic, curious nature, and ability to work within a diverse group of manufacturing associates are some of my key attributes to enjoying a rewarding career. During my early years it involved, installing numerous pieces of equipment, led and trained electro-mechanical technicians, performed countless preventative maintenance procedures and progressed through the maintenance ranks to the highest wage position of Engineering Technician 4. After leading multiple line installations in the latest generation of equipment, I was asked if I was interested in a salaried position as an associate engineer. Although I wasn’t thrilled with the deep pay cut moving from wage to salaried, I took my years of experience, with no Engineering degree, and accepted the position. The progression within the engineering ranks was a tad slower, but I did progress through the engineering ranks to Project Engineer while slowly attempting to earn my degree. The ability to maintain my job performance, traveling for work, managing time with my family (4 daughters and tolerant wife) and chipping away at a degree was a time management-juggling act. I was awarded my Bachelor’s degree at the end of 2016. Once my degree was completed I was promoted to Staff Engineer in 2017 and continue to enjoy working within the New Product Introduction group - Research & Development. My Project Management Professional certification was obtained in 2018.
