ABOUT JOHN LEHAL

I advise businesses, public sector bodies and voluntary sector organisations on strategy, reputation, growth and organisational change. After a long consultancy career, I now provide senior counsel to CEOs and Boards to address the strategic challenges they face, and working towards delivering organisational excellence. I am active charity trustee, and have just completed a two-year term as external adviser to the Labour Party Diversity & Inclusion Board. I have been a leader on issues relating to equality, diversity and inclusion in the workplace. I chaired an industry commission on diversity, served on charity boards, and was CEO of a youth leadership, mentoring and employability charity. I launched and grew Insight Consulting Group over eleven years, running the consultancy until it was acquired in 2017. Since May 2023 I’ve been playing my part in delivering a Labour Government at the next General Election. I still love connecting people, offering help and advice whenever asked, and helping to make things happen.
