   Technical manager responsible for technical staff and delivery of system improvements related to the largest USPS application (Product Tracking & Reporting); 24x7 system support, deployments, driving system / software upgrades, technical design / changes, technical planning, business continuity, and security improvements. • Oversee 24x7 system operations support staff & activities • Technical analysis and execution of system software version improvements. These include OS, middleware software and migration to new servers for 190+ systems in less than 1 year duration to improve application stability and support. • Planning / forecasting of system maintenance activities (Linux, Oracle, HP hardware, WebSphere, Tomcat, Informatica, KAFKA) for 500+ systems.• Led many changes, testing and rollout efforts to accommodate President Biden’s plan to deliver more than 320 million COVID-19 test kits. • Application & system security hardening via software updates, patching, protocol changes and best practices.• Design of system improvements and modernization enhancements.• Business Continuity improvements and testing to enhance system uptime in many areas (application, hardware & configuration).• Enhanced team productivity, transforming processes to reduce manual efforts using SharePoint and Microsoft Teams. • Infrastructure planning, sizing, and rollout of servers.
