ABOUT JOHN KITCHER
John has over 16 years’ experience in the accounting, investment management, and corporate finance roles. He holds professional designations as a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA), a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), and a Responsible Investment Specialist (RIS). John started his career as an accountant with Ernst & Young in 2002 in Ottawa. In 2004, John moved to Ernst & Young, Bermuda, where he switched his focus to the investment industry. His career grew with progressive roles in the investment industry. After nine years working in Bermuda and Switzerland, John moved back to Ottawa. John transitioned into the private wealth management industry in 2015 as a Financial Advisor. John and his wife Mychele, are proud parents of two daughters. Outside of work, John can be described as a family man who enjoys a good laugh, watching movies with the kids (often snoozing), gardening, loves playing fantasy football and fantasy basketball, and playing ultimate Frisbee.
