John has a distinguished 40 year career of business success including executive management, corporate governance, financing and M&A. He is Chairman of Stack Capital, a TSX listed Company investing in later stage pre-public private Companies. He is Chairman of Pure Jamaican Limited, a producer of medical pharmaceutical cannabis for export, a board member of Cure pharmaceutical a drug delivery and development Company. From 2014 to 2020 he was an BOD member and Chair of Canopy Growth and Canopy Rivers as they grew the Company from pre-legal to the global leader with a market cap of $20B - he stepped down after successful exit to Constellation Brands with their $5B investment. He was founder, owner and CEO of Shred-Tech Inc a global Manufacturer of Shredding and recycling equipment and creator of the mobile shredding Industry. He was owner and CEO of Polymer Technologies Inc. a global manufacturer of auto-parts. He was Chairman and principal shareholder of BSM Technologies Inc.(TSX) a fleet management Company, He was CEO and director of ATS Automation (TSX) with 23 plants global plants. A believer in Community service John has contributed to numerous organizations including Cambridge Memorial Hospital (Chairman), Waterloo Regional Police (Chairman), Waterloo Region Prosperity Council (Chairman), Crohns and Colitis Canada (National Secretary). He is currently a Governor of the Stratford Festival.
