I fell in love with business watching races from the tower at Anderson Speedway (IN) before I could tie my own shoes. My uncle founded the American Speed Association (ASA) and co-owned the track. I learned early that success, in racing or anything else, comes down to strategy, relationships and attention to detail.Elite leadership isn\'t about having the title. It\'s about who you\'re willing to become.I\'ve spent the last 20 years building companies, leading teams, developing leadership programs and walking alongside founders, executives and entrepreneurs. I\'ve seen what works. I\'ve seen what doesn\'t. Those experiences shaped how I think about elite leadership. Today, I\'m the Founder and Host of P1 Strategies—a leadership company for high-performing leaders. I facilitate private peer groups, advise founders and executives and help leaders sharpen their thinking, expand their capacity and put themselves in position to win.My career has spanned motorsports, tech, automotive, retail, museums, education and non-profits, but motorsports is where I learned to build from scratch. I launched a new sanctioning body, purchased and revitalized a struggling one, built a strategy consultancy and hosted a podcast dedicated to the business of racing. I partnered with NASCAR to honor one of racing\'s most legendary series and learned what it takes to turn big ideas into tangible results—whether starting from nothing or fixing what\'s broken.Outside of motorsports, I\'ve served as Executive Director of the Hamilton County Leadership Academy (HCLA), facilitated leadership intensives and embedded in startups. It\'s been a masterclass in business strategy, operations, leadership development, marketing and storytelling…with a whole lot of racing promotion thrown in.While the industries have varied, the core principles haven\'t.I created these peer groups because I believe in leadership, human potential and the power of real conversation.
