I currently focus my practice on complex law and technology issues, with an emphasis on problem solving, including:* Information Governance (legal opinions, policies, procedures, projects and strategy);* large loss portfolio analysis in support of due diligence for mergers and acquisitions;* litigation portfolio analysis, management and pricing for alternative fee arrangements;* data security, privacy and technology based litigation (risk transfer agreements, data transfer, website, co-location and cloud based technology);* data loss response, coaching and litigation, including regulatory compliance, risk analysis and classification and internal security governance;* Information governance, RIM programs, RIM compliance, preservation, classification, retention schedules and litigation hold programs and opinions, data destruction opinions;* complex environmental litigation and regulatory enforcement response (CERCLA, Oil Spill, CAA, CWA and state counterparts); and * rail transportation and products liability cases. I have over 20 years of litigation experience and have tried numerous cases to verdict in State and Federal Courts, including successfully briefing and arguing appeals. I leverage my courtroom experience to provide corporate clients with practical risk avoidance advice, strategies and solutions. I translate complex legal, technology, security and information governance issues into English.
