   As Teaching Math Supervisor and Mathematics Faculty at Valencia College, I lead instructional and faculty development efforts for Developmental Math and Intermediate Algebra courses across modalities. I teach each semester, develop course materials aligned with institutional goals, and collaborate with faculty and learning support teams to promote student success.In my role, I mentor and support part-time faculty, conduct observations, and provide targeted professional development grounded in data, student feedback, and teaching excellence. I’ve designed and facilitated collegewide PD sessions, created Canvas and IMathAS course templates adopted across campuses, and serve as course chair for multiple developmental math courses.I supervise the math lab and tutoring operations (The Depot), align co-curricular resources with classroom instruction, and support student-facing initiatives such as the Summer Math Academy, High School Math Competition, and campus-wide academic events. I work closely with the Dean on course scheduling, hiring, and student placement concerns, and have led alignment efforts with local school districts and community partners.My approach is grounded in equity, access, and engagement—with a focus on inclusive, student-centered instruction and collaborative faculty development. I actively contribute to institutional committees, strategic planning teams, and cross-campus partnerships to advance learning leadership and drive innovation in mathematics education.
