For more than 25 years, I have focused my practice on a broad range of complex criminal, civil, and administrative matters, with an emphasis on white collar criminal defense. I have handled cases and investigations at the federal and state level involving money laundering, mail and wire fraud, FCPA, securities violations, bribery and public corruption, espionage and national security matters, RICO, health care fraud, tax evasion, immigration violations, and environmental crimes. I also have handled internal corporate investigations, international extraditions, administrative debarment proceedings, and a variety of other civil and administrative matters. As a result of my work on national security cases, I have held and maintained high level security clearances, including Top Secret SCI. I am AV Preeminent rated by Martindale and have been repeatedly recognized by various publications as one of the top criminal defense lawyers in the Washington, D.C. area.
