About John Howard
I am a second-year student at the Kelley School of Business, majoring in Finance. I have a passion for creating something new, helping others, and the outdoors. I have demonstrated these skills in the past by working as a camp counselor for three summers, two of which I was a certified red cross lifeguard. I greatly enjoyed my time working as a summer camp counselor. It allowed me to create new and exciting activities for the campers, help both the campers and counselors have the most successful summers possible, and enjoy all of these activities in the outdoors. Now at Indiana University, I continue to seek out opportunities to grow my professional and personal leadership. I have joined a fraternity, Delta Tau Delta, in which I have taken multiple leadership roles in. I am apart of the Brotherhood and Mental Health Committee. As a part of Brotherhood Committee, I help to plan activities for active members of the fraternity grow closer to each other. For the Mental Health Committee, my role is to advocate and be a resource for my fellow brothers in the fraternity. I am a member of multiple clubs in addition to my fraternity, such as Real Estate Club and the Business World of Sports. I am also a member of the Phi Eta Sigma National Honors Society based off my GPA during my freshman year. In the future, I plan to find a successful job in the real estate world. My goal is to find a job that allows me to further explore my passions. In addition to this, I have strong aspirations to explore a career as an entrepreneur. I believe that this will further allow me to pursue my passions and set me up for long-term success. Though I am not quite sure what my future holds, I know that there are a vast number of possibilities, and I am greatly excited to see what the future holds
