Founding engineer for a design-led fintech platform reimagining how individuals and advisors approach holistic financial planning. Partnered with a multi-family office to transform a proprietary advisory process into a scalable, compliant digital product. As part of a small, cross-functional founding team, I led engineering and product delivery from concept through launch: combining startup agility with production-grade quality- Led end-to-end design and delivery of the platform’s first production release, including scenario modeling, data aggregation, and personalized planning tools- Architected an API-first, cloud-native system (FastAPI, Postgres, Redis, Nuxt/Vue) supporting dynamic financial projections and real-time insights across web and mobile- Applied lean startup engineering discipline — automation, CI/CD, and security-aware design — to balance iteration speed with reliability and compliance- Collaborated directly with design and advisors to translate complex planning workflows into simple, intuitive user experiences- Managed vendor selection, integration, and contract negotiation for financial data aggregation and market feeds- Secured NC IDEA grant funding for MVP development and early customer outreach.
