ABOUT JOHN HITCHIN
I am an experienced social sector leader, strategist, faciliator and researcher who has worked across a significant range of orgnisations, issues and geographies. I have a particular expertise and knowledge in the role of place-based approaches to social change from a conceptual, strategic, policy and practice perspective.After experience running an impactful social enterprise and working across the social sector, I am now working in a new partnership, helping organisations and teams to understand the shifting landscape, and ensure that their strategy development, evidence and narrative is enabling change. I bring over two decades of insight across hundreds of projects, and know how best to bring research, impact measurement, facilitation, coaching, systems thinking and strategic planning to the contexts and environments that organisations are facing.I have particular experience in place-based change, community and youth development, anti-poverty work and connected issues such as homelessness and migration.
