Experience

  1. Founder CEO Nonprofit & Corp Resiliency Consultant

    Patmos Consulting

    Aug 2005 — Present

Provides services for nonprofit, foundation, and corporate clients focusing on strategic planning, change management and organizational resiliency. Have guided boards and management to examine an organization’s governance, business and program models, revenue strategies and processes, IT mapping and data breach audits, and inter-organizational relationships with a goal of adaptation and alignment of strategic priorities and operations to better meet the needs of those they serve. Developed and designed software e-tool to assess risk and vulnerabilities and establish resiliency capacity and plan: the Organizational Resiliency Gameplan Assessment Tool (“ORG Tool”.) The easy-to-use and cost-effective application identified strengths and areas requiring adaptation (over 50% of questions were financial,) and provided in-depth recommendations, benchmarking against an org’s sector, and specialized resources. Since 2013 Patmos has been limited to project work for former clients, a few new clients, and revenue generation with the help of additional consultant partners. Patmos clients include: Safe Haven Family Shelter, Desmond and Leah Tutu Foundation (fundraising case statement for an international feasibility study,) Gallatin Shalom Zone (feasibility study,) Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce (Crisis Communication Plan,) Community Foundation of Memphis, HCA Foundation (ORG Tool provided to fund recipients,) FirstBank, CPI Card Source, Travellers Rest, Avenue Bank, Babcock Foundation (NC,) Assisi Foundation, and many others.
