My broad experience across different service areas in various authorities has helped to develop a considerable knowledge of the challenges faced within local government. Using my experience I am able to develop and implement solutions with a particular focus on using performance and business systems to support improved levels of service delivery. I have spent over 28 years in social care services. During this time I have gained experience working in ‘front-line’ fieldwork services before moving in to process (design and management), quality performance management and Project Management and ultimately strategic development and leadership. I have strategically led and implemented projects including systems, performance management frameworks and inspection recommendations across adults and children’s social care along with leading on the statutory year end reporting processes for both service areas. I am passionate about empowering others to reach personal and organisational goals and fully understand the critical impact that a motivated workforce has on delivering high quality public services.
