For over two decades John has invested in the lives of emerging leaders and their influencer\'s as a pastor, coach, consultant and public communicator.    John brings over 33 years of marriage, ministry, and leadership experience. He and his wife, Jennifer, have served as lead pastors, church planters, associates, missionaries, and leaders in the non-profit sector.John is a gifted listener and confidante who combines Christ-like empathy, truth, and grace to encourage and serve influencers and emerging leaders on the front lines of God’s Kingdom.When John is not serving through Standing Stone, you will find him using his gifts as a public communicator, joining Jennifer on adventures in the great outdoors, or visiting their children and grandkids.John and Jennifer live in beautiful central Oregon, serving as Standing Stone Field Shepherds offering one-on-one and couple-to-couple shepherding. In addition, the Garricks open up retreat space to facilitate guided respite and excursions for ministry couples needing extra time and connection in a destination location.They have two married daughters, one married son, and two grandchildren.
