Each day, I strive to lead with humility, solve the seemingly unsolvable, and bring clarity to complexity—drawing on two decades of global experience in finance and energy.From a cattle farm in Oregon to energy assignments across six continents, my career has been shaped by a passion for understanding the world through a financial lens. Early on, I landed in Nigeria, where I guided the business unit to its highest Sarbanes-Oxley compliance during a time of political unrest. In Thailand, amid the red shirt protests and military crackdown, I helped modernize accounting systems and joint venture billings.In Midland, I helped pivot a struggling vertical shale program to horizontal drilling, transforming the company’s trajectory and contributing to the shale revolution. That success led to my appointment as Finance lead for designing a new operating model for shale and tight resources in the Permian Basin—resulting in record production, improved returns, and a leaner cost structure.Later, I oversaw forecasting and reporting for Chevron’s Latin America operations, navigating U.S. sanctions on Venezuela, hyperinflation, and a near-total portfolio redesign. Today, I serve as Senior Business Performance and Finance Manager in Chevron’s Supply and Trading organization, which is rapidly evolving into a premier energy trading player—doubling earnings within just a few years of launching a bold growth strategy.
