ABOUT JOHN ENDERBY

I’m a Senior Product Designer turned Software Engineer — 10 years in design leadership, the last 5 focused on frontend engineering.I work at the intersection of UX, visual design, interaction design, and modern frontend architecture. I don’t just design products — I build them.I started in product design, leading teams and shaping strategy. Over time, I moved into engineering to close the gap between design intent and implementation. Now I move seamlessly from user flows and interaction models to scalable, production-ready code.I primarily work with React, TypeScript, Next.js, Node.js, and modern CSS (Tailwind, CSS-in-JS). I care about building clean component systems, scalable design systems, and fast, accessible interfaces that hold up over time.I think in systems — components, states, edge cases. I sweat typography, spacing, and motion, but I also care about performance, bundle size, and architectural integrity. My philosophy is simple: great UX is engineered. The interface is the product. Craft and code shouldn’t be separate disciplines.
