   This role drives continuous improvement in business control performance and risk mitigation through the RCSA program. You will assess inherent risks, evaluate control effectiveness, and proactively identify deficiencies. Responsibilities include continuously updating control ratings based on changes or new issues, monitoring Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), and Compliance testing for breakdowns, and linking issues to controls to determine residual risk impact.You will ensure the business risk and control profile is maintained, reflecting process, regulatory, and technology changes, and facilitate RCSA reassessment and attestation. A key part of the role involves assisting in the creation and validation of effective Management Action Plans (MAPs) to remediate issues, collaborating on root cause analysis, and evaluating new issues for appropriate business response. You will manage Risk Acceptance requests and ensure controls from closed issues demonstrate improvement through validation. All activities require timely updates to Cenlar’s risk system of record, ProcessUnity.You will identify and escalate emerging risks, provide control design advice for process, technology, or compliance changes, and enhance overall risk awareness. This position requires active engagement with a wide range of internal and external risk stakeholders, including Audit, Compliance, and Issues Management. You will liaise with Policies and Procedures (P&P) to integrate risks into departmental guidelines, coordinate with Internal Audit and Exam Management for information requests, and work with testing partners for root cause analysis and remediation. Timely responses to client audit and management requests are also critical. Finally, you will support the Business Control Director and Issue Management team as assigned, upholding high ethical standards, ensuring regulatory compliance, assessing risk in business decisions, and fostering accountability.
