ABOUT JOHN DUNNING

I have worked in technology for over 20 years, and my primary focus remains solving business problems for corporations, SMEs and Government. During my life I have worked with some great people and we have used our knowledge to pass on savings of £hundreds-of-millions for our numerous customers. In the early 1990s I was a founder member of the Gang of Five company which provided Informix NewEra solutions and consultancy. Within two years the company had increased in value to over £1million. In the mid 1990s I left Gang of 5 to specialise in Unix Kernel and Security working predominantly on IBMs AIX C3 operating system. In 1998, I founded TechiesInTouch with a small group of like-minded consultants and we provided training, consultancy and mentoring services for customers throughout the UK. This was later rebadged as T++ Training which obtained venture capital funding and became the number one training organisation for independant consultants. In I was one of a handful of people selected by KPMG to present at the Startup $1Bn Conference in London and found myself working with some VCOs to provide technical solutions for businesses in which they were investing. In the mid I mentored a number of mature students from GCSE to University and beyond. In 2007 I returned to Consultancy as a full stack Java Consultant specialising in Business Rule Management Systems and Business Rules for a number of large corporations and Government Departments In 2010 I became a Government Digital Service supplier providing solutions and training for a number of Government Departments. In the last few years T++ was subsumed into Skills421 providing training and Cloud solutions for both SME and Corporate clients. More recently I have been working in the fields of Artificial Intelligence and Cognitive Systems for a number of private sector clients.
