To reduce the incidence of onward transmission of HIV in Bradford. To establish local community initiatives with People living with HIV, which explore needs in relation to social support & service provision, work towards meeting these needs.To improve sexual health of populations most at risk of HIV & poor sexual health across Bradford through voluntary action.To increase employability skills & independence in users of Bradford services. To work with Most At Risk Populations (MARPs) for HIV transmission incl. Men who have Sex with Men, African communities, People Living With or Affected by HIV (PLWH) to improve access to advice, information and guidance around HIV Prevention & Social Support needs.To develop & support grassroots community forums, educative and peer support groups & events for PLWH & MARPs. To deliver appropriate community based sexual health interventions including HIV point of care tests (POCT) to the target groups in community settings. To market these services & monitor and evaluate them. To work in partnership with appropriate agencies to develop these services further. To deliver support & self-management interventions to People Living with HIV.To inspire, develop & deliver voluntary action across the Bradford District in particular; • Group co-facilitation & support• Community based STI & contraception testing outreach • Outreach to health promotion events • Positive speakers & positive peer mentors To ensure that Yorkshire MESMAC Bradford services have in place the systems & infra-structure to support people to become volunteers including recruitment, training, personal development, supervision, reward & recognition. To develop & deliver a training programme for people from target populations enabling them to become community leaders, facilitating their own groups & delivering self-directed voluntary action.To deliver training including basic HIV & LGBT awareness, to professionals in Bradford
