About John Mosco

I am an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Delaware Valley University and Delaware County Community College, where I have taught undergraduate and graduate courses in information technology, cybersecurity, business law, operations management, and ethics since 2016. I bring real-world depth to every classroom, drawing from 25+ years in federal IT, DoD cybersecurity, and military leadership to connect concepts directly to practice. My teaching philosophy centers on equity and access. I design courses for diverse learners, university-bound students, adult learners balancing work and family, veterans, and those navigating personal challenges. As a disabled veteran myself, I have a particular commitment to supporting military and veteran students and understanding the unique obstacles they face. I teach in both online and in-person formats using Canvas and Blackboard, and I am experienced developing curriculum from the ground up, including workforce development programs, Microsoft Learn for Educators certification tracks, and EC-Council cybersecurity training authorized under DoD 8570. I am a full-time federal employee with the Defense Logistics Agency and enjoy expanding my part-time teaching and workforce training work in my free time. I hold a CISSP, CCNA, CEH, Microsoft Azure Administrator, and multiple EC-Council instructor credentials. I am a DBA Candidate at Trident University International, completing doctoral research on cloud-enabled digital transformation in nonprofits assisted by artificial intelligence, with graduation expected in the Fall of 2026.
