Phil & Derek\'s Restaurant is a Southern-style Cajun/Creole restaurant that features live Jazz/R&B music five nights per week. When we took it over in 2016 the company was only open 4 shifts per week, did not possess a liquor license, and celebrated $440K in gross revenue in its best year.When I took over as the head of operations we moved the location to just outside downtown, extended our hours to include lunch/brunch and dinner seven days a week, and secured a full liquor license. We re-launched the restaurant on Super Bowl weekend 2017 to a packed house and have watched our gross revenue grow to $5 million over the last five years.
