About John Christman

John has 30 years of global experience including executive level positions at Cognizant and Dell Inc. where he built and led several global cross functional Program Management / Integration Management Office (PMO/IMO) teams as well as global finance organizations. He has led various integration strategy, IMO and finance integration teams in conducting due diligence, integration strategy, pre- and post- acquisition integration planning and cross functional integration of 50 companies in the technology industry including software, enterprise hardware and services companies. He also led the development and refinement of many of the acquisition integration capabilities within the firms, including build out of cross functional acquisition and divestiture playbooks, teams and a post integration reporting feedback loop to fuel continuous improvements both in corporate development and integration activities. Prior to his M&A experience, John led global finance teams at Dell, partnering with leaders of manufacturing, logistics, and IT as well as leading all back office functions for Asia. In addition, he spent several years building teams, processes, and PMO capability in conducting greenfield site selection and startup program management for ten of Dell’s largest scale sales offices, support centers, and manufacturing facilities in Europe, Asia and Latin America. Prior to Dell, John led fulfillment operations teams and marketing activities in a $1B private distribution company and was a US Army telecom officer supporting the infantry in Panama. He holds an MBA in Finance as well as dual bachelor degrees in Systems Engineering and Management from Wharton.
