I started off working at a local gym Called Retro Fitness, this gym is of course a franchise agency. I started off there as a maintenance worker and made my way up to being promoted to the front desk. At the front desk I would sell memberships, give out information such as prices, benefits, classes, child care and other information that came with your membership. As a front desk employee I also made protein shakes, washed blenders, racked the weights lying around on the floor. I would also have to do transactions, for merchandise, apparel, and placing items into the computer system to be ready for sale. After working at RetroFitness for about six months, I stopped working for sometime to focus on school. A couple of years after that I decided to apply for a job at the Lakeland Hills Family Ymca as a coach and front desk employee. As a coach I taught children from ages five to about twelve or thirteen, the principles and rules of basketball, soccer, and gymnastics. For the front desk at the Ymca I handle membership payments and renewals, registration for classes such as swimming, basketball clinics/leagues, soccer clinics/league, gymnastics, parent child courses, adult and older adult courses as well. I currently am still employed as a front desk employee at the Lakeland Hills Family YMCA. I also have volunteer hours at Morristown Medical Center, and as a track coach for the town of Parsippany. I coached track while I was in high school until just about eleventh grade. As for my Volunteer Hours at Morristown Medical Center, I started off as a translator and Emergency Pediatrics Ambassador. I would bring the patients their meals, pillows, blankets, place the sheets and garbage into their corresponding hampers/garbage. Due to my schedule I had to switch from Pediatrics to Adult Emergency Ambassador. This job required the same work as in Pediatrics but I also was given the opportunity to run blood cultures and other specimens to the labs. Unfortunately, I had to end my volunteer job at Morristown Medical Center because of my class schedule the following year.
