John Campbell, P.E, RSP2 is the Director of Traffic Engineering Safety Services at Traffic Analysis & Design, Inc. based in Cedarburg, Wisconsin, where he helps identify feasible, constructible, and cost-efficient transportation solutions. His nearly 20 years of experience includes Safety Action Plans, pedestrian and bicycle safety studies, Safe Routes to School studies, UHT plans, traffic safety research, work zone capacity research, traffic mitigation, microsimulation, Bluetooth data collection, conceptual design comparisons, and construction inspection.John has taught classes and presented a variety of traffic engineering topics at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, University of Wisconsin-Madison, TRB, ITE, ASCE, and ACEC meetings. He is a graduate of the LeadershipITE 2021 program and is on the Executive Council of the ITE Vision Zero Standing Committee.

John is passionate about building partnerships at federal, state, and local levels to reduce crashes, change human behavior, and invest in safety.
