About Brock Bosack
Hello! My name is John Brock Bosack (I go by my middle name, Brock, out of a family tradition). I earned my B.S. in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech as part of the Class of 2016. I have experience as a site/civil/land development consultant on both large- and small-scale projects for Federal, State, Local, and private clients. This includes a mixed-use developments, single family residential developments, landfills, parks, commercial, industrial, and even the National Zoo and museums in Washington, DC. What connects them all is my passion for problem solving, as each project is unique and presents unique challenges to overcome.My career interests are varied, but they focus on sustainable development, the future of site development and planning, using and integrating new technologies and understandings to create sites that are more economically viable, environmentally beneficial, aesthetically pleasing. Civil engineering interests me greatly because I see it as the branch of engineering that directly affects humanity on a large scale in a positive way. I take pride in the belief that the results of my work contribute to the overall economic prosperity of the region and improve the lives of other people every day. I am passionate about civil engineering because I am passionate about helping others.I passed the NCEES Fundamentals of Engineering Exam in February 2016, the NCEES Professional Engineer Exam in 2020, and received my State of Michigan PE License in February 2021.
