Clifton Top 5 StrengthsDeveloper, Positivity, Learner, Input, MaximizerSince I was a child, I have been taught to be a life-long learner, and this is a virtue I am devoted to as I prepare for a career in healthcare. As an undergraduate, I was able to excel in rigorous academic studies, while concurrently being an active community member participating in research, volunteering, athletics, and more. These experiences helped me realize my passions for scholarship, education, philanthropy, and healthcare. After completing my B.S. degree in Neuroscience, I completed post-baccalaureate research training in neuropharmacology at the University of Minnesota Medical School Department of Pharmacology. As a project director, I have refined my critical thinking and scientific communication skills, which will be beneficial for a career in healthcare.I am currently a 2nd year Doctor of Pharmacy Student & contribute to drug discovery research in the Department of Pharmaceutics. My career interests are in neurology focused ambulatory care settings, academia, and hospital pharmacy. I am also passionate about mentorship, education, and leadership. I hope to connect with pharmacists & residents practicing in the areas of neurology and those involved in academia/research.
