With extensive experience in the energy sector, I currently lead the Renewables Division at Score Group, focusing on bespoke solutions for the offshore wind and renewable energy industries. My expertise lies in fostering long-term customer relationships and technical services to drive sustainable energy initiatives. Over the past 15 years, I have navigated the evolving energy landscape, transitioning from traditional sectors to renewables. Collaborating closely with clients and partners, I am committed to delivering innovative solutions that support energy transition while maintaining a strong emphasis on people and connections.This role gives me the opportunity of working with peers and experts in the renewables industry, from wind, hydrogen and CCUS to leave a legacy behind for generations to come and make a real difference. With an interesting journey from my retail roots to offshore energy (with lots of great stories along the way!), from selling diamonds to offshore wind and renewables! We would need to have a chat for the full story.Spent the early sales years traveling the UK and Ireland, I loved travelling and meeting new people, I still get a buzz out of it now. The last fifteen years spent in the energy sector and I find the journey through energy transition both fascinating, rewarding and exciting, leaving a legacy for future generations but ultimately for me; it is still a people thing. Love my music, and have quite an eclectic taste from House, Dance and Trance to my old favourites Pink Floyd. Been to many a concert over the years from Rush to Pete Tong, now there are two opposites! ‘Tomorrowland’ is on the bucket list!Have a love of running and cycling and have entered my first ultra-marathon for 2026 in which I will be setting off to \'Thunderstruck@- ACDC. Also like open water swimming, generally in the sea off the NE coast of Scotland, mad I hear you cry,(I thought so too till I tried it). I have a love of the mountains, nature and being outside, always out walking the dogs, rain or shine. There are some amazing coastal walks around us with hills not that far away that keep the soul alive. Super chuffed to have converted a van to a camper van myself, also a leisure drone pilot making aerial photography part of the weekly walks and trips which adds another dimension.I have met and worked with some amazing people, some of which have influenced and guided me, others have shown me how not to do it. I can be quite innovative and thoroughly enjoy doing what I do. I still get a buzz from providing a solution for a project as well as the journey to get there. I have achieved great results working on my own and also flourished at managing large diverse teams and get a kick out of watching a team grow by incentive & motivation.I like to be busy and there is always much to do, I think time is my biggest enemy. I like to help people whether in or out of business and have built a really large network of meaningful connections, many of which over the years, becoming personal friends. A bit about me, and you?
