About Johnathon Walls
Head of Imaging Sciences, ResearchMy team supports research and translational imaging efforts for all therapeutic areas at Regeneron. We work closely with research scientists across all of our therapeutic areas to support, develop, and conduct a wide variety of in vivo, ex vivo, and in vitro studies. We are building new small animal in vivo imaging capabilities for MRI, PET/CT, ultrasound, and optical imaging. Our microscopy and histology team supports and develops ex vivo studies in the digital pathology space using IHC/IF, ISH/RNAScope, slide scanners, and in vitro cell based studies using fluorescent, confocal, and high content microscopes. Our image analysis team supports all of the above, including developing quantitation assays for digital pathology of first-in-human trials. Our group participates in all steps of the process including conception, design, execution, and interpretation.
