Hi, I\'m Johnathan! I love solving tough software and hardware engineering problems in creative ways, especially when it requires rolling up my sleeves and dusting off an old textbook or working out a messy problem on a whiteboard. I believe in doing meaningful work that leaves a positive impact on both customers and colleagues. I\'m passionate about effective leadership and helping people achieve their full potential.After getting my BSME at Cal Poly, I spent ~6 years at Apple shipping beautiful hardware products. I had a blast, but I began to crave a new challenge. After some soul searching and a bootcamp, I landed at Canva, where I’ve been working as a frontend software engineer, expanding the suite of data viz tools available to our users. When I’m not expanding Canva charts, I moonlight as a cofounder and tech lead for a cross platform marketplace for pick up sports, called pug am always interested in meeting new people and learning about the exciting things other companies are working on, so if you’re interested in connecting please feel free to DM me!
