About Johnathan Limb

For over 25 years, my engineering career has been centered around my passion for aviation. Planning, design, construction management, and program management—my expertise helps small general aviation airports to large hub Part 139 airports address growth and change. With over 100 projects at 60+ airports, I\'ve been involved in nearly every piece of airport development. You can find my work anywhere, from runways, taxiways, and aprons to jet bridges, field maintenance facilities, and air traffic control towers with tracons. On and off airports, I am also experienced in heavy utilities, roads, sites, rail, and much more. Living in Alaska most of my life taught me how to solve unique airport challenges for communities that rely on aviation as their primary mode of transportation to the outside world. Half-width runway construction to converting parallel taxiways to runways to land Part 121 operators—there are ways to keep airports running. I find ways to help airports continue to serve the traveling public while we complete necessary work to secure their futures. Now living in Texas, I worked as staff extension to Houston Airports System providing project management for Part 139 airside pavement projects. In this role an owner\'s representative, I helped take projects from design through construction. Now as Stantec\'s Aviation Infrastructure Practice lead for Texas, I am looking to serve the broader aviation community\'s needs.
