Interprets company and industrial specifications.* Gathers and maintains specific records of technical data related to materials, tools, fixtures and processes used in company* Creates and maintains inspection plans, logs and reports* Compiles reports using information gathered from quality, manufacturing and research projects* Develops measurement processes* Collects and analyzes data using statistical analysis methods* Drives and coordinate corrective actions based on process audits discrepancies.* Provide strong leadership to the work-cell in activities relating to product quality* Represent the quality function within manufacturing as the technical advisor on workmanship standards and quality system * Champion the process control effort as related to the proper use of control charts, check lists, visual aids and other documentation on the manufacturing floor* Support the resolution of material issues as required by working with receiving inspection personnel * Monitor trends in quality data (yields, defects per million, scrap, corrective actions) to identify continual improvement opportunities* Provide accurate, timely feedback of production issues to the work-cell teams * Escalate issues and declining trends to the appropriate personnel for resolution * Supports OBA as necessary
