I\'m responsible for increasing attendance and participation in the Arts within the District and developing its creative infrastructure. The role includes service development, strategic partnerships, project management, reporting and monitoring, and arts marketing. I\'m interested in exploring opportunities for service development, including new technologies and programmes of work, and improving processes to enhance service delivery and increase impact. I\'m also responsible for developing new income streams and creating best value out of our current assets through collaborations with strategic partners in the public and private sectors.

ABOUT JOHNATHAN BRANSON
I’m a culture-sector specialist working at the intersection of local government, higher education and creative enterprise. As Projects & Development Manager (Arts) at Warwick District Council, I shape strategy and turn it into delivery, building the partnerships, business cases and funding approaches that enable artists and organisations to do their best work.My work spans district-wide cultural planning, public realm and sector development. Recent highlights include leading the district’s new Arts & Cultural Strategy, developing a Public Art Toolkit to support artists and commissioners, and producing Spark, an annual creative symposium connecting and energising the local sector. Alongside this, I support town-led initiatives such as Town of Culture bids, helping align cultural ambition with community priorities and placemaking outcomes.Through my links with Warwick Institute of Engagement and wider sector networks, I stay close to evolving research and practice in participation, audience development and place-based working, ensuring policy and programmes are grounded in evidence and real-world insight.Whether it’s strategy development, capital projects, public art, or creative programme design, I bring a mix of strategic thinking, practical delivery and straight-talking clarity.
