I am a seasoned Program manager and Systems engineering architect with a proven track record in the management, design and implementation of complex avionics, flight simulation, Electronic Warfare (EW) and avionics test equipment, class medical devices, and network security systems.My career has afforded broad-ranging experiences in orthogonal technologies, development paradigms and regulated environments that I bring to bear on every project or development effort I undertake - regardless of technology class, corporate organization or market scenario. A demonstrated proficiency of evolving medical device, security system, commercial avionics and military development projects from concept to finished products has been the result. PEDIGREEAs a recruit fresh out of college, my start was as a systems engineer at Boeing. “Systems engineering” in this context refers to traditional systems engineering - the type that designs flight control systems, spaceships, airplanes, etc.At Boeing, I was extremely fortunate to receive training and tutelage from veteran aerospace engineers, many of whom were involved in designing the Apollo launch platform – the most complex and risky technological development of its day. These mentors introduced me to the systems engineering discipline, project management and to effective customer interactions. Their depiction of systems engineering as the technical arm of project and program management has been a construct that I have carried through my career, with great success. I am thankful to those engineers for making the investment in me and strive to do likewise for the engineers that I mentor.
