As the Global Tax Director at Q2, a leading provider of cloud-based banking solutions, I oversee all aspects of the company\'s tax function, including global tax provision, direct and indirect compliance, planning, and controversy. I have more than 20 years of experience in public accounting and public/private industry, specializing in manufacturing, medical devices, utilities/energy, and technology companies.My core competencies include global tax provision; U.S. federal, state, and international income tax compliance; transfer pricing; domestic and foreign tax controversy; tax process design/implementation/efficiency; internal controls; stock compensation; tax accounting methods; M&A support; global indirect tax processes; and information reporting. I have successfully built a department from the ground up, managed advisor relationships, worked with financial statement auditors, evaluated nexus creating activities, and worked with executive management on various strategic models and analysis.
