   As an HRIT Scrum Master for the Workday Landscape: • I will be ensuring Scrum is understood and related activities are executed in alignment with the agile standards. • Guiding the team throughout the iterative software development process - coaching the Scrum Team and the organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices & values and how to get the most out of self-organization • Setting up and leading ceremonies, including daily standup, retrospectives, sprint reviews or sprint planning sessions, etc. • Managing communications / interactions within the team and with external stakeholders to maximize the value created by the Scrum Team. • Helping to refine and groom the Product Backlog with the Product Owner. • Assessing the agile maturity of the team and coaching them higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization. • Removing impediments that hinders agility within the team. • Building a safe environment to stimulate innovation. • Assisting with internal and external communication and improving transparency leveraging visual dashboarding to keep information up to date. • Manage stakeholders outside the team as required. • Expected to foster a “One Team – One Goal”, “Self-Organizing” and “Continuous Improvement” environment • Working with HR System Support teams, IT architects, Business Process Architects, vendors, integration support teams, to identify improvements in the wider landscape or development needs and priorities. • Providing key messages, progress, impediments to Chief Scrum Master on a periodic basis. • Works with Chief Scrum Master to ensure learnings are shared across the organization to enable higher productivity • Provides the Chief Scrum Master and Chief Product Owner with inputs to the product strategy/roadmap, annual product planning, value creation and calculation.
