   I am the third generation of a North Georgia Beekeeping family. Traditionally we specialize in the finest varieties of raw, wild-crafted Honey and primarily focus on the native varieties \"Sourwood\" and \"Wildflower\" that we harvest in the North Georgia Mountains. In fact, our Sourwood Honey is a winner in the 2017 Good Food Awards. My father and grandfather mainly wholesaled our honeys. As I came into the family business, I wanted to expand the brand so that our raw honeys appealed to a more discerning, wellness conscious market.These are customers who taste and appreciate the variety of raw honey flavors, just as they appreciate the differences in fine wines. They want to eat health-promoting food that tastes good. In a lean startup, I developed a recognizable high end brand that sells online, on amazon.com, at 8 regional farmers markets, 22 real food boutiques and restaurants, and events all over the Atlanta area.Under my leadership the company is expanding its offerings to include information and education that will help our customers live more sustainable lives during these times of steep change, starting with bees which are foundational to the real food chain. With my experience in holistic wellness, growing a green business, and education in personal coaching, I have attracted a great team that will support this expansion.
