His broad experience was acquired through progressive positions in Project / Program Management, Business Development and Operations during a ten-year period working in the National Capital Region supporting DoS, DHS, VA, DoD, U.S. Navy, U.S. Army and the U.S. Marine Corps. Additionally, he served 7 years as an IT Project Manager at U.S. Central Command and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.Having joined the U.S. Marine Corps in 1988, John has served with the First, Second and Fourth Marine Divisions. He is a combat veteran of Operation Desert Storm, Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. A former Battalion Commander, Battle Staff Trainer, OIC of USMC Field History Division, his final tour was a Special Staff Officer at Marine Forces Central Command. John retired as a Colonel in 2022.
