About John Winchell

I have been surrounded by agriculture my whole life. I love what I do and I am very fortunate to have found my calling in life. Dairy is my occupation as well as my favorite hobby. I will always be involved in dairy nutrition whether it is on farm nutrition or technical support. I have spent the bulk of my career combining nutrition, forage quality, silage hybrids, bunk management, and silage management on farm. Recently, I have been spending the majority of my time on mycotoxin management and some novel concepts for haylage and corn silage quality analytics.

   Passionately supporting sales, consultants, clients, customers, farmers and ranchers in a Hybrid position that combines on farm support and global technical support on mycotoxins, forage quality, dairy ration support, global Rapiread onboarding and support. Duties consist of on farm support, record analysis, forage harvest analytics, Rapiread technical support, mycotoxin troubleshooting and mycotoxin control and management. Consulting, troubleshooting, technical support through webinars, conferences, producer meetings, and above all, customer support. The goal of this position is to passionately support sales staff and their clients and customers by bridging the gap between technology and practicality in the field and on the farm.
