About John Wheatley
As Vice President, I am responsible for supporting the mission of the Economic Development Corporation (EDC) and promoting Warren County, New York as a premier location for business expansion, new business development and the attraction of new talent to the region. EDC Warren County is the central point of contact for business development and our mission is to create jobs, attract investment and diversify the tax base while improving the qua of life for the residents of Warren County. EDC accomplishes this through the retention/expansion of existing business, attraction of new business/industry, support workforce initiatives and improving our infrastructure. Key initiatives that align with EDC\'s overall mission include the development of housing, support recruitment of talent, expansion of telecommunications capacity including broadband.
