About John Weber
Mr. Weber possesses extensive experience in homeland security and emergency management initiatives for private and governmental agencies and has over 38 years of experience in public safety, security, environmental protection, transportation, energy, with a strong focus in the maritime environmental field. He brings skills in strategic planning, business development, program management, public policy development, regulatory implementation, leadership, emergency planning, and facilitation, training, and emergency/security exercises. He has been a business leader and management consultant for the last 10 years, after previously serving 20 years in the U.S. Coast Guard. Mr. Weber led the development of the Homeland Security exercise evaluation methodology for the U.S. Dept. of Homeland Security. During his tenure with ICF International, Mr. Weber expanded the company’s homeland security resilience portfolio into Florida, California, and New York/New Jersery. While in the U.S. Coast Guard, Commander Weber (ret.) supported response to a number of emergencies ranging from maritime oil spills through the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Mr. Weber was an early leader in testing and implementing the Incident Command System (ICS) for the Coast Guard.
