ABOUT JOHN HENDERSON

A graduate of Northeastern University, John Henderson holds degrees in Biology, and Art and has been applying an analytical, and artistic approach to crafting cocktails since stepping behind a bar in 2009. Initially as a means to pay for school, John demonstrated a talent for creating drinks and quickly worked his way up through the industry ranks, to now be recognized among the new generation of noteworthy bartenders in the country. As a member of the United States Bartenders Guild, John has competed in various competitions, including, Drambuie\'s Nail or Fail 2012, Barenjager National Bartender competition 2012, Tequila Ocho’s Viva Sangrita 2013, was twice a finalist in Diageo World Class US 2013 and 2014. In the past, John has been featured in The Boston Globe, Stuff@Night, The Forward, SeriousEats, The Daily Meal, DuJour.com, Mens Health and several other national publications. Always pushing the limits, his thirst for knowledge has translated into an impressive skill set which he uses to enlighten anyone willing to listen, as he continues to immerse himself in the world of spirits, and cocktails. A recent transplant to New York City, John now spends most of his days, 9 floors up, mixing cocktails in the sun for Park Ave locals, along side several other award winning Boston bartenders.
